04/21/09 - One engine was sent to assist Fairview FD on a machine fire. Crews worked about an hour to extinguish the blaze.

03/28/09 - Late Saturday night LSFD Engine 503 was called to assist Kearsarge FD at a blaze on Treetop Drive. Fire Police were later called to assist with crowd control at the firegrounds. Squad 507 was also called up to assist MPS answer calls in Millcreek Township while other ambulances were staging at the fire. Crews worked through the night to bring the fire under control.

04/11/09 - The Easter Bunny took some time out of his busy Easter weekend to stop by the Lake Shore Fire Department. He had set up an Egg hunt for all of the kids and spent some time posing with the children for pictures.

04/04/09 - Today members from Lake Shore, Fairview, Lake City and Franklin Township went out to the Fairview Business Park to learn and practice their pumping skills that were learned over the last few weeks.

03/20/09 - Today Lake Shore was dispatched to assist Fairview on a car fire next to a building.

09/18/08 - This afternoon LSFD responded to the apple orchard off of Wilkins Road for a brush fire. The fire was quickly extinguished by fire crews. Airport Police are investigating.

09/27/08 - Members of LSFD participated in a structural burn class at Belle Valley FD this weekend. Members from several other area departments attended the class.
